Research Experience:

Dr. Dunant Halim is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Director of Teaching & Learning - Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. He obtained his PhD from the University of Newcastle Australia. For 2 decades, he has worked extensively on various research projects related to dynamics (acoustics and vibration), sensing and control at a number of international institutions in Australia and China. He has co-authored a book that introduced a novel optimal spatial control for regulating structural vibration: “Spatial Control of Vibration: Theory and Experiments”. To date, he has also published 2 book chapters and more than 60 refereed publications in international conferences and journals, with the citation number of more than 860 (Google Scholar).
